   Are you ready for a fun holiday of sailing on a Fountaine Pajot, Orana 44 catamaran boat? MARI’S LEONARDO has three separate cabins, each with a separate head and shower.  Large double berths in each cabin will allow three (3) couples or 6 guests, plus one more forward single berth for kids or an additional guest.

   Maybe you saw this blue water cat, MARI'S LEONARDO, at the 2008 and 2009 Annapolis Boat Show.  After the 2008 Boat Show, LEONARDO headed south to the Abacos, Hope Town, and Bahamas for the winter.  In 2009, she sailed further south to the US and British Virgin Islands.

   In 2012-13, MARI'S LEONARDO was berthed in Nanny Cay Marina, Tortola BVI and sailing out of St. Thomas, USVI, and throughout other areas of BVI, Spanish Virgins, St. Croix, and the more southerly islands of St. Martin, St. Bart’s and Antigua.  Most of our sails in 2018-19 will be out of Compass Point and Crown Bay Marinas in St. Thomas, USVI, and still sailing into the areas mentioned above.

   When Skipper is not chartering he is teaching ASA sailing classes on MARI'S LEONARDO  through Charter House ASA School or Atlantic Cruising ASA School; representing the Tortola (BVI), St. Thomas(USVI) and Puerto Rico(Spanish Virgins) areas.  Private instruction on Catamaran sailing is available, too.  Contact Steve, if needing any certified sail instruction on this catamaran or the concentrated private one-on-one sailing instruction.  For charters, contact Corrinne or Derek

   Skipper and crew have had great fun sailing up and down the West Indies chain over the past 30+ years and hope to share many more fun adventures with you during your next holiday visit to the beautiful, warm (84 degrees) water and islands of the Caribbean.

You will be in good hands...  Skipper Steve

  • Has a United States Coast Guard Master 100 ton Near Coastal Captain's license;
  • Has an Over 200 Ton (STCW) Standards of Training, Certification & Watchkeeping certificate; and
  • Is an American Sailing Association instructor and an Instructor Evaluator for ASA.

   While living aboard MARI’S LEONARDO these past few seasons and providing several charters, the Skipper taught many ASA 101, 103, 104, 105, 106 and ASA 114 Catamaran courses.  If you want some sailing courses along with your sailing holiday, we can make that happen.
